Ladies Kickboxing

Some want to learn how to defend themselves, while others want to improve their fitness. Ladies kickboxing is a vehicle for physical, mental, personal, and emotional development.

The training includes shadow kickboxing, equipment training on the pads, shields and bags, 2 person drills, calisthenics, strength training, stretching, conditioning and endurance training. Get into the best shape of your life!

Competitive Ladies Kickboxing

Using speed, agility and power, Kickboxing combines the punches, upper cuts, and hooks of boxing with various powerful kicks used in martial arts. Students are taught kicks, punches, blocks and other defensive techniques, shadow kickboxing, bag and pad training, as well as cardiovascular and muscular fitness exercises.

In this kickboxing class, students are also taught to apply the techniques to practical self-defense situations. By training as a kickboxer, a student gains greater confidence, improved cardiovascular fitness, increased muscular endurance and greater flexibility. Kickboxing is a complete workout and an excellent form of exercise for effective weight loss when training on a regular basis.

No-Gi Grappling

Grappling is a collection of martial arts techniques and strategies which consist of gripping, handling and controlling an opponent without the use of striking. Also referred to as submission wrestling, grappling moves and techniques are found in jiu-jitsu, judo, traditional wrestling, and mixed martial arts. The strategies used to defeat an opponent can generally be divided into three sub-groups: throws, joint locks and pinning techniques, each of which can be used together or separately. Grappling moves are commonly used when teaching self-defense and by law enforcement officers.

Through the use of position and leverage, the goal of this martial art is to allow a smaller, weaker fighter to effectively defend themselves from a larger, stronger, more aggressive opponent. Techniques taught include takedowns, chokes, strangles, joint locks, sweeps, and escapes.

This class covers many submissions and positions to build an overall base in grappling as well as improving your strength, endurance and confidence. We offer beginner and advanced classes resulting in a class suitable for any fitness and skill level.

Kickboxing

Are you bored with your current workout routine? Kickboxing is anything but boring. This class will get you in the best shape of your life. You will strengthen and tone your body PLUS learn self defense skills. Our focus is to expose you to a variety of striking techniques from various martial arts disciplines such as boxing, thai boxing and TaeKwonDo.

Our workout is superior to other kickboxing programs. We use heavy bags, kick shields, medicine balls, jump ropes and focus pads to work all the major muscle groups in your body. We also use strength and conditioning techniques to burn fat and tone your body. Our classes are full of high energy and will keep you motivated to reach your fitness goals. Everyone is encouraged to go at their own speed and no prior experience is needed. If you are out of shape, this program will get you IN shape, all while having a blast. Some classes focus solely on bag work, while others focus on using kick shields and focus mits. You will be surprised at how fast that hour goes by!

Freestyle Wrestling

Freestyle wrestling allows attacks to the entire body of the opponent. Freestyle wrestling teaches single leg and double leg takedowns, both of which are highly ingrained in the sport of mixed martial arts. Freestyle wrestlers have been extremely successful in MMA.

It is considered one of the most predominant components of mixed martial arts.

In the Freestyle wrestling class you will :
